Training & Development Solutions (TDS) is a computer software training company that was founded with the end-user in mind. After years of corporate training, we continually hear from our students that our instruction is easy to understand. We don't overwhelm the student with complicated technical explanations. Instead, we simplify each lesson and task with easy to understand instruction.

TDS was founded in 1992 by Lynette Lukenbaugh. Lynette has earned a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, Expert Level, in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. She has worked as a computer software trainer for the past 15 years teaching all of the Microsoft Office products as well as WordPerfect, Lotus Notes, Visio, PageMaker, CorelDraw, and Imanage. Lynette has taught classes for many Fortune 500 companies in the Houston area and their branch offices across the U.S. In addition to teaching, she has also written training material designed for classroom instruction.

Lynette recognized, after years of being in the classroom, that students were just too busy to be in the classroom all day. Even after teaching one, two or three hour classes, students were still asking for smaller pieces of information.

With "simple" and "easy" in mind, Lynette developed her own custom reference cards, SimpleSteps^TM. These reference cards are unique in that each card contains detailed, step-by-step instructions for a specific feature. These reference cards are designed to be used by individuals that do not need or want classroom instruction, but desire to learn one feature at a time within an application.
