To create a shortcut for a database object,
right-click the object in the Database window, and choose Create
Shortcut...then click Browse to designate where you want to
place the shortcut.

Press F4 to open an active combo box.

Press F11 to bring the Database window to the
front.

To display a Property Sheet in Design View,
press Alt + Enter.

Double-click the edge of a control in Form or
Report Design View to AutoFit the contents of the control.

In Datasheet View, press F5 to move to the
Record Number Box at the bottom of the window.

Click on the Ruler in Form or Report Design View
to select the objects beneath the location where you
clicked...click and drag on the ruler to select a range of
objects.

To quit Access, press Alt + F4.

Press F5 to switch between Form and Design
views.

Press Shift + F2 to open the Zoom box when
trying to enter text in a small area. For example, when entering
criteria in a Query.

Double-click a field name in Datasheet View (top
of column) to rename the field. Simply type the new name
and press Enter.

To backup an object in the Database Window,
select an object and press Ctrl + C, then press Ctrl + V.
Rename the copy of the object to "Backup of [object name]"

To use an Microsoft Access table in a Microsoft
Word mail merge, click the OfficeLinks button on the Database
toolbar, then choose Merge It with Microsoft Office Word.

Press F2 to rename a selected object.

Add a description to a Database object by
right-clicking and choosing Properties from the shortcut menu.
To display the description in the Database window, click the
Details button in the Database window.
